What you get

Use your school account to sign in to your Mac and supported apps.

You can sign in to your Mac at the login window or lock screen using your school’s ClassLink account, rather than maintaining separate Mac credentials. You can use ClassLink’s web sign-in page or your username and password, then access supported native and web apps through single sign-on during your session.

Your local Mac password can stay synchronized with ClassLink, and a local account can be created when you need it using your school identity. If you use a shared Mac, the extension also supports shared-device environments and guest login. You can use your school’s supported ClassLink multi-factor authentication options.

If you manage school Macs, you can centralize account and access management through MDM tools such as Jamf Pro or Mosyle, with support for Apple Automated Device Enrollment. You need a ClassLink subscription, and your ClassLink administrator handles setup and configuration.

A ClassLink subscription is required for this app to work. ClassLink Platform SSO for macOS allows students, educators, and staff to sign in to their Mac from the macOS login window with their ClassLink account, using ClassLink's web sign-in page or their ClassLink username and password.
