DJ Serato

Djay & Mixing App

DJ Serato gives you DJ mixing, beat creation, multitrack recording, and instrument practice in one Mac app, whether you’re learning your first transitions or building tracks.

What you get

You can mix sets, build beats, and record tracks in one app.

You can turn songs from your Music library into a DJ set, keeping beats aligned and preserving pitch when you change tempo. Cues and loops help you prepare transitions, while key detection helps you choose compatible songs. You can record your mix or let Automix handle playlist playback.

When you want to make your own music, you can build drum patterns, add your own samples, and arrange patterns into songs. Multitrack recording lets you layer parts, trim takes, and adjust timing. You can also play virtual instruments with your mouse or keyboard, then work on piano, guitar, bass, or violin through guided lessons that listen to your playing.

You can work offline without creating an account or uploading audio. Some capabilities require Pro, including Studio exports, WAV beat exports, hardware controller support, per-track effects, and unlimited Studio tracks. You’ll need macOS 14 or later.

  • Work without an account

You can mix, create, and practice offline without uploading your audio.
