What you get
Give yourself a repeatable way to recall what you study.
You get a place to turn study material into questions and practice recalling the answers. Flash Cards uses spaced repetition to remind you to revisit cards over time, giving you a structured review routine for language learning, exam preparation, or facts you want to keep fresh.
You can build cards around the material you actually need: images, audio, video, tables, and mathematical formulas can sit alongside text. Tags help you group your notes by topic, while spoken playback lets you listen to them in the background. If you already have Anki decks, you can import them rather than recreate your cards.
Your cards, tags, and preferences are automatically backed up and synced through iCloud, so you can continue across your devices. You can also share notes and invite other users to contribute to your study material.
-
Keep reviewing over time
You get spaced review reminders to help you return to material instead of relying on a single study session.
-
Study beyond plain text
You can practice with images, recordings, videos, and formulas when words alone don't capture what you need to learn.
-
Reuse your Anki decks
You can import existing Anki decks and avoid rebuilding your study cards from scratch.
-
Listen to your notes
You can hear your notes read aloud, including while playback runs in the background.
-
Continue across devices
Your cards, tags, and preferences stay backed up and synced through your iCloud account.
Best for
- You’re learning vocabulary in another language
- You’re preparing for medical or legal exams
- You want to keep using existing Anki decks
Skip it if
You don't need it if you only want to read and store notes without practicing recall or following review reminders.
