LimeChat
LimeChat is an IRC client for your Mac, suited to you if you chat across multiple servers or prefer using keyboard shortcuts.
by Satoshi Nakagawa
What you get
Keep your IRC connections together in one window.
LimeChat gives you one place to connect to multiple IRC servers on your Mac. If the communities you follow are spread across different servers, you can keep those connections in a single window rather than use a separate window for each one. You get a dedicated IRC client built for fast, stable operation.
You can also use a broad set of keyboard shortcuts to operate the app, reducing how often you need to reach for the mouse. That makes LimeChat a practical choice if you already spend time on IRC and want to keep your chat routine centered on the keyboard.
-
Fewer separate windows
You can connect to multiple IRC servers within one window.
-
Less mouse use
You can handle app operations with a broad set of keyboard shortcuts.
-
Responsive IRC access
You get a dedicated client designed for fast, stable IRC use.
Best for
- You follow IRC communities across multiple servers
- You prefer keyboard-driven chat
- You want a dedicated IRC client on your Mac
Skip it if
You don't need LimeChat if you don't use IRC.
