If you’re a licensed amateur radio operator, QTH.app gives you a Mac client for viewing APRS station reports, monitoring shared data, and exchanging text messages.

What you get
You can follow APRS activity and exchange radio messages from your Mac.
You get a map-based view of information shared over APRS, so you can see reporting stations and inspect their coordinates, speed, and heading. You can also receive weather reports and telemetry, helping you follow activity from vehicles, weather stations, and portable devices. QTH.app is for licensed amateur radio operators only.
You can connect over the Internet through APRS-IS or use a radio connected through a KISS TNC or audio interface. For your own position, you can supplement macOS Location Services with a serial or Bluetooth GPS connection. When you exchange APRS text messages, you get a conversation interface similar to Messages, with access to your Contacts.
You can receive APRS traffic for free indefinitely. If you want to transmit information or send messages, you’ll need to unlock transmission with a one-time in-app purchase.
