Quizlet
Learn with Flashcards
Quizlet gives you flashcards, quizzes and scheduled reviews from your own study materials on Mac, whether you’re preparing for exams or reviewing class notes.

What you get
Turn your notes into practice and see what you need to review.
You can turn your PDFs, Word documents, notes, images and web pages into flashcards and quizzes instead of writing every question yourself. Text from scanned pages and screenshots can become study material too. You can edit the results, adjust difficulty and group your decks by subject.
When you study, you can test your recall with typed answers, matching exercises, spelling practice or a timed exam. Scheduled reviews bring cards back when they’re due, while accuracy and mastery tracking help you decide what needs another pass. You can also get summaries, mind maps and explanations, or ask the AI tutor about your material.
Your on-device practice works offline; AI generation and tutoring need an internet connection. You can start with five AI generations a day and up to eight decks. If you need more, an optional Pro subscription removes those limits.
-
Spend less time preparing
You can generate editable cards and questions from your existing reading, notes and scanned pages.
-
Know what needs review
You can use accuracy, deck mastery and due cards to choose what to study next.
-
Rehearse before an exam
You can turn an existing deck into a timed practice exam to test your recall.
-
Get another explanation
You can ask the AI tutor about an unfamiliar term or request a different explanation of your material.
-
Keep practicing offline
You can work through on-device practice modes without an internet connection or a subscription.

Skip it if
You don’t need it if you only want to read and annotate documents rather than turn them into study exercises.
