What you get
Use your Mac instead of a separate phone for SIP calls.
Telephone gives you a way to make phone calls from your Mac through the Internet or your company network. You’ll need an account with a SIP provider or your company’s phone server before you can call. With that in place, you can use your line wherever you have a decent network connection, without a physical phone.
You can find contacts through autocomplete or start calls by clicking sip: and tel: links. During a conversation, you can mute yourself, put someone on hold, transfer a call, or handle call waiting. You can also press keyboard numbers to navigate automated phone menus and keep multiple SIP accounts in the app.
You get call history and support for TLS and SRTP encryption. If you need your full call history or up to 30 simultaneous calls, the optional Telephone Pro subscription unlocks those capabilities.
