Animal Typing
Lite
Animal Typing gives you guided touch-typing practice with animal-based rewards for speed and accuracy, whether you’re an adult beginner or helping a child learn.
by Corentin Faucher
What you get
You can build typing speed without sacrificing accuracy.
You get a structured way to practice touch typing, with 28 lessons that introduce keyboard keys gradually. Animated hands show you which fingers to use, so you can work on technique rather than just hitting the right letters. Your typing earns you an animal based on both speed and accuracy, giving you a reason to reduce mistakes as you get faster.
If you’re helping a child under 12, you can choose from two sets of 32 lessons designed for that age group. These children’s lessons support Qwerty and Dvorak layouts; other lessons offer additional layouts, including Colemak, Workman, Qwertz, and Azerty. You can also practice numbers and symbols in advanced lessons.
You can bring in your own lesson material through iCloud Drive, adjust which keys each finger covers, or practice words spelled aloud. Local user accounts let you share the app without everyone using the same login.

• Animal Typing is a simple and funny way to learn touch typing for all ages. In Animal Typing, the animal you get depends on your typing skills. The faster you type, the faster is your animal (snail, rabbit, horse, etc.). However, be careful, Animal Typing also greatly rewards your accuracy.Read the full description
