M32 Edit

M32 Edit lets you control a Midas M32-series mixer from your Mac. It’s for live sound engineers, studio engineers, and performers who need to adjust mixes away from the console.

by Empower Tribe Innovations DE GmbH

What you get

You can adjust your Midas mix without staying at the console.

With M32 Edit, you can manage your Midas mixer from your Mac while working in a venue, on stage, or in the studio. You can change signal routing, shape individual channels, and adjust effects without returning to the console for every change.

You can balance up to 40 inputs across 25 buses and give performers individual monitor mixes without changing what the audience hears. Level meters and real-time spectrum overlays help you see how signals and frequencies behave as you make adjustments. You can also control the console’s eight stereo effects processors.

You’ll need an M32, M32R, or M32C running firmware V4.05 or later for mixer control. If you want to explore the controls without connecting hardware, you can use the offline demo mode.

  • Adjust away from the console

You can change routing, channel processing, and effects from your Mac while working elsewhere in the venue or studio.

  • Keep monitor mixes separate

You can adjust what individual performers hear without altering the main output.

  • See what needs attention

You can use level meters and spectrum overlays to assess your mix visually while making changes.

  • Explore before connecting

You can try the controls in offline demo mode without a connected mixer.

Best for

  • You manage live sound with a Midas M32-series console.
  • You use an M32-series mixer in your studio.
  • You need to adjust performer monitor mixes from your Mac.

Skip it if

You don’t need it if you’re looking for a standalone software mixer rather than a controller for Midas M32-series hardware.
