ManualsPlus
ManualsPlus is a Mac browser extension that helps you find product manuals and keep them for later, including offline access. It suits DIYers, technicians, and people managing household equipment.

What you get
Find the product instructions you need and keep them available offline.
With ManualsPlus, you can look for product instructions from your browser’s New Tab instead of starting with emails or manufacturer websites. You can search by brand or category across thousands of manuals for electronics, appliances, tools, and other products, giving you a place to start when you need a guide.
You can save the manuals you find to a personal library, so you don’t have to repeat the search next time. Your saved guides remain accessible offline, which is useful when you need instructions without an internet connection.
There’s also a browser change to consider: the extension switches your default search and New Tab search to Yahoo. You get web search alongside manual lookup, but you should be comfortable with that change before choosing it.
-
Find instructions by product
You can narrow your manual search by brand or category rather than hunting through unrelated web results.
-
Avoid repeat searches
You can keep useful manuals in your personal library and return to them when you need instructions again.
-
Read without internet
You can access saved manuals offline when a connection isn’t available.
Best for
- DIYers looking for tool and appliance instructions
- Technicians who repeatedly consult product manuals
- Households keeping guides for electronics and appliances
Skip it if
You don’t need it if you already keep your manuals handy or don’t want your browser’s default and New Tab searches switched to Yahoo.
