News App
RSS Reader & More
News App is a free Mac feed reader for you if you want to follow your own news sources, read articles without clutter, and keep stories for later.
by Hudley Holdings LLC
What you get
You can catch up on your chosen sources and keep articles worth saving.
You get one place on your Mac to follow news sites, blogs, YouTube channels, social profiles, and GitHub releases. Paste a website address to find its feed, or bring over your existing subscriptions with OPML. A newspaper-style Daily Digest helps you scan stories by category instead of opening each source separately.
You can read full articles in a clean view, adjust the text for comfort, or switch to the original page with ad blocking. When you bookmark a story, you keep its content even after it disappears from the feed. Your reading stays local, with no account, ads, or tracking; optional private iCloud sync keeps your feeds, bookmarks, and reading progress consistent across your Macs.
You can also turn a spare display into a rotating headline view with weather, or listen to internet radio while you read. The app is free, without subscriptions or paid upgrades.

From the developer
News App turns your feeds into something you actually want to read. It is a native Mac app, built with SwiftUI, that respects your attention: no account, no ads, no tracking. Your own sources come first, and the front page quietly learns from what you read, all on your Mac.Read the full description
