Moonlight gives you a place to listen to the music files you already own, without creating an account or needing an internet connection. Point it at your music folder, then find what you want by album, artist, composer, genre, or song. You can play formats including MP3, FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, AAC, and M4A, and your library stays updated as the app scans your folder for changes.
You can hear albums without gaps between tracks, send playback over AirPlay, and control your music with your Mac’s media keys. An always-on-top Mini Player keeps playback controls within reach while you work in other windows.
When your collection needs attention, you can correct tags across multiple tracks and update artwork. You can also arrange tracks into playlists by dragging them into place and export those playlists as .m3u files.
