OK JSON is a Mac JSON viewer and editor for when you need to inspect, query, or fix structured data without uploading it to an online tool.

What you get
You can make sense of JSON and fix it locally.
You get a readable way to inspect JSON instead of working through a wall of text. Paste data, drop in a file, or fetch it from a URL, then expand its structure and focus on the section you need. You can search the whole document and preview values such as timestamps, images, and JSON embedded inside strings.
When you need answers from the data, you can query it with jq or JSONPath, compare two documents, and get their differences as a JSON Patch. You can also change values, tidy formatting, undo edits, and save back to the original file. JSON Lines and NDJSON are supported, and you can try repairing malformed JSON rather than starting over.
Your viewing history stays on your Mac, so you can return to earlier data. You can work offline without an account, and preview formatted JSON directly in Finder. You’ll need macOS 15 or later.
