Privacy for Safari lets you pay online with virtual card numbers instead of exposing your actual debit card or bank account details. You can autofill those numbers at checkout, so you don't need to retrieve your wallet or type your card information for each purchase.
You can limit where a card works and how long it stays usable. Merchant-locked cards work only with the first merchant you pay, making the number unusable elsewhere if that merchant's data is stolen. For a single purchase, you can use a one-time card that closes after the transaction.
You also get control over future charges. You can pause or close a card to stop payments through it, including unwanted subscription charges. Set a spending limit, and transactions above that amount are declined rather than charged to you.
