Shazam
Identify Songs
Shazam helps you identify songs from your Mac when you hear music you don't recognize, then revisit your discoveries, explore lyrics and videos, or listen in Apple Music.
by Apple
What you get
You can name the song you're hearing without reaching for your phone.
When you hear a song you want to know, you can use Shazam on your Mac to identify it in seconds. A click in the menu bar starts the lookup, so you don't need to take out your phone or try searching for a half-remembered lyric.
Once you've identified a track, you can explore its lyrics, watch its music video, or listen in Apple Music. You get a way to follow up on something that caught your ear, rather than stopping at the song's name.
You can also return to your past discoveries when you want to find a track again. That gives you a record of the music you've identified, without having to remember each title or keep a separate list.
