VOX
MP3 & FLAC Music Player
VOX gives you a music player for Mac and iPhone, suited to listening to lossless files, mixed-format collections, and music from online sources.
by Coppertino Inc.
What you get
You can listen to your music collection without converting files first.
You can play MP3s alongside lossless and high-resolution files such as FLAC, WAV, and DSD, without converting them to a common format. Your music can stay on your Mac, NAS, or network drive. You can also open existing playlists and CUE files from CD rips, so you don't have to rebuild every listening session from individual tracks.
You get uninterrupted transitions on gapless albums, plus an equalizer and crossfade settings to adjust how your collection sounds. You can bring SoundCloud likes and streams into the player, listen through YouTube links, and keep your Last.fm listening history updated. Dock and menu controls let you manage playback without returning to the main window.
With a VOX Premium subscription, you can store unlimited music in the cloud without reducing its quality, then sync, stream, and cache your library on Mac and iPhone. Premium also gives you access to more than 30,000 radio stations.
