What you get

Know which notifications need you before you look at your Mac.

You get audible clues about what just arrived, rather than the same ping for every notification. Give your manager’s messages a distinct tone, use one siren for all your #prod-* channels, or hear a cash-register sound when a Stripe payment notification arrives. Chirpy works with apps that send notifications to macOS Notification Center, including Slack, Teams, Mail, and browsers.

You can make urgent alerts louder and keep everyday conversations quieter. Match sounds to people, channels, keywords, or entire apps, combining conditions when you need a more specific match. Choose from more than 72 included sounds or import your own audio files to reuse across rules.

When several rules could apply, you decide which takes priority. You can also give unmatched notifications a fallback sound. Once configured, Chirpy runs from your menu bar without adding a Dock icon, and you can have it start when you log in.
