What you get

You can tell which app needs attention by sound or a visual cue.

You can recognize which app sent an alert without stopping to read its notification. TrillMark lets you give each app a distinct sound, so you can learn to distinguish a work message from incoming mail by ear. You can also trim your own audio files into short alert tones.

If sound isn’t useful to you, you can replace it with colored, labeled flashes in the menu bar, along a screen edge, or across the display. App names help you identify alerts without relying on color alone. You can adjust brightness and duration, or choose slower flashes if rapid light changes bother you.

When you need fewer interruptions, you can mute or snooze alerts and use macOS Focus Filters to change their behavior with your Focus mode. A short local history lets you check recent notifications you missed. Your notification data stays on your Mac, with no account or tracking.
