What you get

Find your saved files by sight or by what’s inside them.

You can find last week’s download or an unnamed screenshot without remembering its filename. Kepter displays files from folders you choose as visual tiles in a drawer at the edge of your screen, so you can recognize what you saved instead of retracing folder paths.

When appearance isn’t enough, you can search for words inside files, including scans and recordings. That lets you locate a recording by something that was said, or a scan by text it contains. You can also collect related files into stacks, keeping contracts, photos, or other materials together for easier access.

You can open, rename, or trash files from the drawer, and undo renaming or trashing with Command-Z. Your files stay in their original locations unless you act on them; Kepter doesn’t create copies or move them automatically. Everything stays on your Mac, but deleting an original also removes Kepter’s access to it.
