Kickstart
App Accelerator
Kickstart gives you a Mac workspace for the work surrounding an app launch. It’s for indie Apple app developers who want launch tasks, store management, performance data, and marketing materials together.
by Hudson Heavy Industries
What you get
Keep your app’s launch, store presence, and growth work in one place.
You get one place to organize the work beyond writing code, whether you’re starting an app or importing an existing App Store Connect project. Daily tasks help you decide what to tackle next, while your listing, keywords, pricing, localizations, and release plans stay together.
You can follow revenue, subscriptions, downloads, and crashes, then use reviews and competitor comparisons to inform your next changes. You can also reply to reviews, track TestFlight feedback, monitor Apple Ads spending, and prepare press pitches, marketing videos, press assets, and an app website without moving between separate tools.
While you build, a companion panel beside Xcode’s iOS Simulator lets you compare your interface with mockups, inspect network traffic, test push notifications and deep links, and capture screenshots or videos. Many features are free, but store management, competitor analysis, video editing, website creation, and some insights require a subscription.
-
Know your next task
You get day-by-day launch tasks, so you can work through specific steps rather than a broad checklist.
-
Make informed app changes
You can review sales, downloads, crashes, customer feedback, and competitors together when deciding what to improve.
-
Keep your listing aligned
You can manage store copy, keywords, pricing, and localizations alongside your release work.
-
Prepare your launch materials
You can create press assets, marketing videos, and an app website in the same workspace.
-
Test and capture your app
You can check simulator behavior, inspect network traffic, and capture screenshots or videos beside Xcode’s iOS Simulator.

Skip it if
You probably don’t need it if you only want to write code and already have a workflow for app launches, store management, and marketing.
