What you get
See the weather on your desktop, with scenery that changes to match.
You can turn your Mac desktop into an animated view of sunshine, rain, snow, or a clear night. Choose from more than 30 HD scenes that follow current conditions or today’s forecast, rotate randomly, or keep one favorite. You can also use your chosen scene as a screensaver.
You get the time and forecast where you can see them, with desktop displays you can move, resize, and make more transparent. The Dock icon shows the current temperature and conditions; clicking it gives you details such as how cold it feels, wind, humidity, and sunrise and sunset times.
You can check five days ahead in the free version. If you need hourly forecasts, a 10-day outlook, or multiple locations, the full version adds those through a yearly subscription or one-time purchase. Rain radar is available in supported regions, with severe-weather warnings in the US and Europe and rain-start notifications in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
