If you’re starting without a recording, you can build rhythms and arrangements from drum sounds, loops, and sequenced patterns.
You can shape your recordings with compression, echo, pitch shifting, and a 20-band equalizer, or bring in third-party VST effects. If you create your own sounds and effects in Pure Data, you can use those in your tracks too.
For live playing, you can process your input with effects in real time and adjust playback buffering for a faster response. You can also collaborate with other musicians through Songtree, keeping recording, sound design, and mixing within the same workspace.
