What you get
You get answers from your PDFs with citations you can check.
PDF Pals lets you ask questions about your PDFs instead of rereading them from start to finish. You get AI-generated answers with citations back to your documents, so you can check the supporting text rather than take an answer on trust.
When your research spans several files, you can ask about multiple PDFs in the same chat. That gives you a way to investigate a topic across documents without repeating your questions in separate conversations. OCR processes the document text, and your PDF files stay on your Mac without needing to be uploaded.
You can choose the AI model and response language, adjust how predictable the responses are, and use Markdown in your interactions. For privacy, the app also automatically redacts sensitive information it detects and collects no in-app analytics.

From the developer
What if the long report you’ve been going over could talk? What if you could just type in some questions and it could give you the answer right away, without having to read (or re-read) it top to bottom? PDF Pals app does exactly that.Read the full description
