Vetero° Menu Bar Weather
Vetero° is a Mac weather app for you if you want current conditions, forecasts, and severe weather warnings within reach of your menu bar.
by Adam Rozynski
What you get
Know what weather to expect before you head outside.
You can check the temperature beside your Mac’s clock, then click to see whether you’ll need a jacket, umbrella, or sun protection. Choose which conditions stay visible, including feels-like temperature, wind, humidity, and UV. The forecast covers your current location or a city you select, with the next three hours, tomorrow’s outlook, and daylight times available free.
You also get official severe weather warnings without a subscription. The most serious alerts can reach you during Focus. Where Apple Weather provides minute-by-minute forecasts, you can see when rain should start and stop and receive a notification before it begins.
If you need to plan further ahead, the optional yearly Vetero Plus subscription adds a ten-day forecast, more frequent updates, and a scheduled morning briefing. You also get additional wind, UV, and temperature-change alerts. Minute-by-minute rain charts and a rain or snow countdown depend on regional data availability.

Vetero is a weather app built only for the Mac. It sits in your menu bar next to the clock: look up for the temperature, click for the whole forecast. Official severe weather warnings are free for everyone, not a Plus feature.Read the full description
