What you get
Know what weather to expect before you head out.
You can check the current temperature and conditions on your Mac, then look through hourly changes in rain, wind, and temperature to decide what to wear or when to go outside. A written weather overview helps you get the gist without studying every number.
You can search for cities worldwide, save places you check often, and return to recent searches. If you prefer not to share your location, you can look up your city manually. You can also use Celsius or Fahrenheit and choose your wind speed units.
With the optional Weather PRO subscription, you can check conditions from the menu bar, plan around a 10-day outlook, and see additional details such as UV index, humidity, and sunrise or sunset times. PRO also adds unlimited city searches and an extended hourly forecast; city searches are limited without it. Forecasts are estimates, so you should use official sources for severe weather and safety-critical decisions.
