What you get
Use your Windows desktop and work apps from your Mac.
Windows App gives you access to a Windows computer or work environment from your Mac. You can connect to remote PCs running Windows Professional or Enterprise, Windows Server, or desktops and apps your administrator provides through services such as Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop. Your PC must be configured for remote access, or your organization must provide the resources.
Once connected, you can make local folders and clipboard content available in your remote session, so you can work with material from your Mac. You can also use local microphones and cameras, receive streamed audio and video, and spread your remote workspace across multiple monitors.
If you switch between several Windows environments, you can keep your connections and credentials together and mark favorites for easier return visits. You get access to Windows running elsewhere, rather than a Windows installation on your Mac.
