What you get

You can save videos offline and manage torrents in one place.

With Folx, you can save online videos to your Mac for viewing when you’re offline, alongside files you download directly from websites. Downloads can be split into up to 20 streams to help reduce waiting time, though the speed you get depends on your connection and the source.

You can search for torrents inside the app rather than switching to a browser, compare results by seed count, and start downloads using torrent files or magnet links. If you’d rather download later, you can schedule a start time; speed controls let you adjust how quickly torrents download.

You can also tag downloaded videos so your growing collection is easier to sort and find. For websites that require authentication, Folx can remember your login details, reducing repeated sign-ins. You’re responsible for downloading and sharing only content you have the rights to use.
