Garmin BaseCamp gives you a place to plan trips, inspect Garmin maps, and organize routes and tracks, particularly if you use a Garmin device for outdoor travel.

What you get
You can prepare your routes and transfer them to your Garmin device.
You can work out where you want to go before your trip, then transfer your route data to your Garmin device. BaseCamp lets you create and revise routes, mark waypoints, and organize tracks, so you can keep your planned journeys and recorded paths in order. For multi-day trips, you can use Yelp and your map data to find places along the way.
You can examine maps in 2D or 3D and check terrain using the topographical information included in your detailed maps. You can also find addresses and points of interest covered by that data, view BirdsEye satellite imagery, and bring in Garmin Custom Maps.
If you want paper maps, you can print detailed topographical sheets or larger maps across multiple pages. You can also add geographic locations to your photos and create or share Garmin Adventures.
