Mail+ for Gmail
Mail+ for Gmail gives you a separate Mac app for your Gmail inbox, with unread counts and adjustable notifications, if you prefer keeping email outside your browser.
by Rocky Sand Studio Ltd.
What you get
Keep your Gmail inbox separate from your browser.
You can access your Gmail messages in a dedicated app instead of keeping an inbox tab open in your browser. An unread count on the Dock icon lets you check for waiting messages at a glance, and you can customize unread-email notifications.
You can adjust font sizes to make messages easier to read, change window opacity, and use Gmail themes. That gives you some control over how your inbox looks without moving away from Gmail.
If you purchase the Plus features, you can keep multiple Gmail accounts in separate windows, check an email overview from the menu bar, and switch between light and dark modes. Plus also lets you print emails, choose where downloads are saved, and lock windows with a click. This is a third-party app, not an official Google product.
