What you get

Switch microphones and mute yourself without leaving what you’re doing.

With Microphone Selector, you can choose your Mac’s active microphone from the menu bar instead of opening System Settings. If you regularly move between input devices for calls, voiceovers, or live streams, you can change your setup without stepping away from your work.

You can mute or unmute with a click, or use a global keyboard shortcut while staying in your current app. A glance at the menu bar tells you which microphone is selected and whether it’s muted, so you don’t have to guess before speaking.

You also avoid another account or cloud service: the app works offline and collects no data. Your controls stay in the menu bar, without adding a Dock icon or extra windows.
