Pausr
Breaks that know the score
Pausr is a Mac break reminder for you if long screen sessions make you forget to rest your eyes, stand up, or step away.
by OBAM CORP.
What you get
You get regular screen breaks without reminders interrupting your calls.
You get a schedule for stepping away from your Mac without watching the clock yourself: look away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes, stand for 90 seconds every 45 minutes, and take 15 minutes off every two hours. Brief visual nudges also remind you to blink and adjust your posture.
You get 30 seconds’ notice before each break, so you can finish what you’re doing. You can snooze a reminder or start a break early. When you’re on a call, presenting, sharing your screen, or gaming, Pausr automatically holds off rather than interrupting.
You can also see how your screen time adds up across individual apps and get a nudge when you’ve stayed in one too long. You don’t need an account, and your data stays on your Mac. Activity detection uses your foreground app and microphone-use status, without reading your screen or listening to audio.
