When you repeatedly send the same reply or paste a long URL, you can assign it a short trigger and expand it in any app. You can also turn text visible in screenshots, videos, presentation slides, or PDFs where you cannot select it into editable text, rather than transcribing it yourself.

You get cleaner material to reuse, too: Quip removes tracking clutter from URLs, tidies whitespace, and normalizes code formatting. Its on-device AI can summarize long text and suggest collections, so you spend less time sorting and cleaning your history. That AI processing stays on your device.
