What you get
Give your Mac keyboard a mechanical sound without replacing it.
With Tacque, you hear mechanical switch sounds whenever you type, whether you’re writing, coding, browsing, or chatting. You can choose a softer, deeper sound or a sharper click and set the volume to suit your surroundings. Your existing keyboard stays the same; you change what you hear.
You get more variation than one repeated click. Different keys have subtle pitch differences, while Space, Enter, Backspace, and modifiers have their own sounds. Left- and right-side keys also sound from their corresponding sides in stereo. If the included packs aren’t your preference, you can import compatible community packs from a file or link.
You can keep typing sounds out of calls and media playback by enabling automatic muting when your microphone is active or music and video are playing. You can also preview packs, adjust volume, or switch the sounds off from the menu bar.
