What you get

Keep your talking points visible to you, not your screen-sharing audience.

You can keep your script, interview prompts, or demo notes above your other windows while your audience sees only what you share. Veilnote excludes its windows from screen captures in apps including Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Loom, OBS, and QuickTime, so you can share your whole screen without putting your notes away.

You can read from an automatically scrolling strip beneath your camera, keeping your gaze closer to the lens. Set a comfortable reading speed and text size, then pause scrolling or hide your notes with keyboard shortcuts without leaving your presentation. You can also edit notes during a call, highlight key points, and find saved material through search.

Your notes stay on your Mac, with no account or network access required. The hiding applies to screen capture only: FaceTime is not covered, and a physical camera pointed at your monitor can still see your notes.

  • Share without exposing your script

You can leave your notes open while sharing your entire screen in supported calling and recording apps.

  • Read closer to the camera

You can follow an automatically scrolling script beneath your camera instead of repeatedly looking away at separate notes.

  • Adjust notes mid-call

You can revise talking points, highlight reminders, and control scrolling without switching away from your presentation.

  • Keep preparation on your Mac

You can save, search, archive, and export your notes without creating an account or sending them over a network.

Best for

  • You run sales demos or discovery calls
  • You present webinars or record video tutorials
  • You want private prompts during remote job interviews

Skip it if

You do not need on-screen prompts, or you need notes hidden during FaceTime calls or from a camera filming your monitor.

From the developer

Veilnote is a floating notepad and notch teleprompter for Mac that stays invisible when you share or record your screen. Keep your talking points, script or interview notes right on screen. Everyone on the call sees your slides, browser or demo. Only you see Veilnote. It's not a transparency trick.
