When your connection feels unreliable, you can check signal strength, latency, data transfer rates, security, and DNS timing together, with readings refreshed every two seconds. Plain-language explanations help you interpret unfamiliar numbers, while a menu bar readout lets you check your signal without opening the dashboard.
You can test the wireless link between your Mac and router rather than relying only on an internet speed test. To investigate recurring problems, you can review up to 14 days of readings, sampled every five minutes, and see when signal, noise, or latency changed.
On macOS 26 and later, you can ask Apple Intelligence questions about your actual connection, such as whether it looks suitable for a video call. Your readings and AI processing stay on your Mac. You get evidence to guide troubleshooting, not a tool that automatically repairs your network.
