What you get

Keep your login credentials on your YubiKey, not your phone.

Yubico Authenticator gives you access to one-time passwords stored on your YubiKey, so you can keep those sensitive credentials on a hardware key rather than your phone. You can carry the key between mobile and desktop devices and retrieve codes without an internet connection. You need a YubiKey to use it; the app is its companion, not a replacement.

You can also manage how you unlock and use your key: configure PINs, set up fingerprints on supported keys, and manage passkeys. If you use smart-card credentials, you can manage PIV private keys and certificates, too.

When you need to check or reconfigure your YubiKey, you can see its serial number, firmware version, and supported capabilities. You can choose which functions are enabled, provision slot-based credentials such as Yubico OTP or static passwords, and factory-reset the key’s data when necessary.
