What you get

Keep the windows you need together and switch between them with tabs.

Contain gives you one place to work with windows from different Mac apps. You can bring a document, browser window, and terminal into a resizable container, then click tabs to switch between them. Each window gets its own tab, so you can distinguish multiple documents from the same app without rearranging your desktop.

You can also find windows across desktops and displays through a grid picker and bring the one you need into your current workspace. If you grant optional Screen Recording access, you’ll see live previews rather than app icons. Your original windows stay interactive, and windows you haven’t added remain untouched.

When you’re done, you don’t have to rebuild your layout. Release a window to restore its earlier size, position, display, and full-screen state. Quitting Contain returns all contained windows to where they were.
