What you get

Give your Mac a coordinated look without choosing every element separately.

With Cozy, you can give your desktop a consistent illustrated style instead of finding wallpapers and folder icons separately. Choose a setting such as a felt farm, pixel-art ocean, cabin, or space scene, then apply its wallpaper and folder icons together. Select themes also include matching calendar and clock widgets, so you can keep the date and time visible in the same style.

You can also change just one folder through the Finder extension, choosing an icon from any theme rather than replacing your whole desktop. If you use multiple screens, Cozy automatically assigns the appropriate wallpaper to each display, with separate versions designed for iMac and MacBook screens.

You get one complete theme free to try. If you want to unlock Cozy, you can make a one-time lifetime purchase rather than pay a subscription. You won’t see ads, and the app collects no data.

  • A coordinated desktop

You can apply matching illustrated wallpaper and folder icons together instead of assembling a look yourself.

  • Individual folder choices

You can change a single folder’s icon in Finder using artwork from any theme.

  • Time and date in view

With select themes, you get calendar and clock widgets that match your desktop’s artwork.

  • Wallpapers across your screens

You get the appropriate wallpaper automatically on each connected display.

Best for

  • You want matching wallpaper and folder icons
  • You enjoy illustrated desktop themes
  • You want themed clock and calendar widgets

Skip it if

You don’t need Cozy if you’re happy with your current wallpaper and standard folder icons.
