cyberWriter
Write privately, think clearly
cyberWriter is a Markdown editor for Mac where you can draft documents, connect notes, and use AI, with on-device options for privacy. It suits you if your writing doubles as a personal reference library.

What you get
Turn your notes into finished documents, connected knowledge, and study material.
With cyberWriter, you can write in Markdown, see the formatted result as you type, and deliver a PDF, Word document, or HTML file without setting up command-line tools. Your diagrams and equations carry through to exports, so you can include technical material alongside your prose.
You can start with an existing Markdown vault or build a collection from scratch. Link related notes, follow backlinks, and explore their connections to revisit ideas in context. When a draft needs work, you can ask AI to rewrite, summarize, or explain it using your vault as context. Choose on-device Apple Intelligence or connect a supported provider or local model.
You can also reuse your writing as slides or spaced-repetition flash cards instead of rebuilding it elsewhere. For spoken ideas, you can record, dictate, or transcribe on-device, keeping the audio beside its transcript in your notes.
