What you get

You can focus on your words, track progress, and export finished drafts.

Paper gives you a quiet workspace for drafting and editing without a crowded interface. When you need to concentrate on a particular passage, Focus Mode dims the unused parts of your document so you can keep your attention on the text you’re working on.

You can add headings, bold text, and lists with Markdown symbols, with formatting highlighted as you type. Gestures let you zoom, resize your document, and undo mistakes without hunting through menus. As your draft grows, you can check its word count, character count, and estimated reading time to judge your progress and length.

You can sync your writing across your devices and export it as PDF, HTML, or RTF when it’s ready. You can also copy your work to the clipboard to use it in another app.
