With Ulysses, you can concentrate on your words in a writing view that keeps controls out of the way. Add headings, footnotes, and other formatting with Markdown as you write, or leave that until your draft is finished. You can also check grammar and style in 20 languages before sharing your work.

You keep notes, early drafts, and manuscripts together in one library rather than scattered across separate documents. Your writing saves automatically and syncs through iCloud. If you also have the Ulysses iOS app, you can continue working on your texts away from your Mac.

When your piece is ready, you can send it directly to WordPress or Medium without copying and pasting it into a browser. For work you want to distribute elsewhere, you can choose an export style and create an ebook, PDF, HTML file, or Word document.
