What you get

You get AI help without sending the personal details you choose to hide.

You can prepare a contract question, meeting notes, or an email for an AI chat without including the identifying details you choose to hide. Deckname replaces names, companies, contact information, and other detected personal data with placeholders before you copy the text into your chosen AI assistant.

You review the matches and decide what stays visible. You can also add internal project terms or give recurring people and clients consistent labels, such as [BOSS]. Once the AI responds, you paste its answer back into Deckname to restore the original details instead of replacing them by hand.

The anonymization and restoration happen offline on your Mac, separate from the AI service you use. Your placeholder mapping stays in memory only and is not stored once you’re done.
