What you get

You get a way to prepare PDFs and scanned images for sharing without exposing personal or confidential details. RedactSense finds information such as names, Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, and addresses on your Mac. Your documents stay on your device throughout the process, with no cloud uploads.

You review the suggested redactions before anything is removed. You can accept matches, dismiss incorrect ones, and mark details the app missed. For scanned pages, text recognition helps you find sensitive information without searching every line yourself.

When you export, the selected information is removed from the file content and metadata, rather than merely covered with a visible box. You can use this to prepare patient records, client documents, or financial statements for sharing, and process files as often as you need without per-file limits.
