You can prepare DICOM medical imaging files for research and other secondary, non-clinical uses without moving the processing off your Mac. With dcmage, you can inspect and correct metadata, curate your imaging files, and validate them before using them in your work.
You can remove protected health information and private tags, plus redact identifying text burned into the images themselves. That lets you address both metadata and visible text when preparing files for sharing. You can also examine studies in 2D and 3D, then export them to research formats.
You get a data-management workbench, not a medical device. You should not use it for diagnosis, treatment planning, or live clinical workflows.
