What you get

Find the right workspace and bring its apps into view.

Deskspace helps you keep track of work spread across macOS Spaces. You can name each desktop after a project, client, or activity instead of remembering which numbered desktop holds what. Those names survive restarts, so you don't have to label your workspaces again each time you reboot.

When you need an app, you can check the menu bar to see which Space it's open on. Clicking it brings its window to the front, even if you're currently on another desktop. You can also move between Spaces using the menu bar, a customizable keyboard shortcut, or a floating toolbar placed where you want it.

If you work across multiple monitors, you get independent Space controls for each screen, including separate floating toolbars. That lets you navigate each display's workspaces without relying on a single shared control.

  • Recognize your workspaces

    You can give Spaces meaningful names that stay in place after a restart.

  • Find an open app

    You can see which apps are open on each Space from the menu bar, then click one to bring its window forward.

  • Switch your preferred way

    You can move between desktops through the menu bar, a customizable shortcut, or a floating toolbar.

  • Navigate each monitor independently

    You get separate Space controls and optional floating toolbars for each display.
