What you get

Give your Mac a moving background that suits each screen.

You can give your desktop a moving backdrop instead of a static image. Browse categories or search for a wallpaper, then preview its motion before downloading it. The library adds new HD wallpapers daily, so you have more options when you want a change. You can also set a local wallpaper file rather than choose from the collection.

If you use multiple monitors, you can keep the same background across them or choose a different one for each screen. You can hide desktop icons, use a transparent menu bar, or switch to full-screen display to leave more of the wallpaper visible.

You also get three power-saving modes to help limit the battery impact of animated backgrounds. Unlimited access to the wallpaper collection is available through a one-time purchase.

  • Choose before downloading

You can watch a wallpaper preview before deciding whether to download it.

  • Match or vary your screens

You can use the same wallpaper on every monitor or give each screen its own background.

  • Use your own files

You can set local wallpaper files instead of relying only on the app’s collection.

  • Show more of your wallpaper

You can hide desktop icons and make the menu bar transparent to leave your background more visible.

  • Limit battery impact

You can choose among three power-saving modes when using moving backgrounds.

Best for

  • You want moving scenery on your Mac desktop
  • You want different backgrounds across multiple monitors
  • You like changing wallpapers regularly

Skip it if

You don’t need it if you prefer static backgrounds and already have the wallpaper options you want.
