What you get

See how hard your Mac is working and spot resource-hungry apps.

You can keep an eye on CPU and GPU load, memory use, and temperature without opening a separate system utility. Live readings stay in your menu bar, so you can check what your Mac is doing while you work.

When you want more context, one click shows you individual CPU core activity, memory pressure, fan speed, disk activity, and battery health. A background-app detector helps you identify resource-hungry apps, giving you a starting point when your Mac runs hot or slows down. On Apple Silicon, you get readings tailored to M-series chips rather than generic estimates.

You can reorder the readings around what matters to you or choose a compact layout. Your monitoring data stays on your Mac, with no telemetry or root access required.

  • Check load while you work

You can see live CPU, GPU, memory, and temperature readings without switching to a separate utility.

  • Find resource-hungry apps

You get help identifying background apps consuming resources, so you know where to investigate slowdowns or heat.

  • Understand your Mac's activity

You can inspect per-core load, memory pressure, fan speed, disk activity, and battery health in one dashboard.

  • Keep monitoring data private

Your readings stay on your Mac, and you don't need to grant root access.

Best for

  • You want live performance readings while working on an Apple Silicon Mac
  • You need to investigate heat, slowdowns, or resource-hungry background apps
  • You prefer quick menu bar checks over opening system utilities

Skip it if

You don't need it if occasional checks in macOS system utilities already tell you enough.
