OneDrive
OneDrive gives you cloud storage for keeping files backed up, synced, and shareable. It suits you if you work across devices or share documents with others.
by Microsoft Corporation
What you get
Keep your files available across devices without storing everything on your Mac.
With OneDrive, you get a cloud copy of your files and photos that remains available if something happens to your Mac. You can reach your files through Finder, a browser, or the mobile app, and make files available offline. Files On-Demand lets you keep files in the cloud to use less local storage.
You can share documents, photos, videos, and albums through links, while unshared files remain private. When you work with others in Microsoft 365 apps, you can edit the same document together and receive notifications about changes. Version history lets you restore earlier versions of documents.
You start with 5 GB of free storage, or get 1 TB with a Microsoft 365 subscription. Your stored files are encrypted. Password-protected and expiring sharing links, plus ransomware detection and recovery, require Microsoft 365. If you use Personal Vault on your Mac, you access it through a browser.
