What you get

Move your photos and videos between Mac and mobile devices without cables.

You can bring photos and videos from your iPhone or iPad onto your Mac, or send media from your Mac back to your device over Wi-Fi. Preview your photos before choosing them, download several at once, and drag photos into any Mac folder. You can also create albums on your device and upload photos directly into them.

Your transfers stay on your local Wi-Fi network rather than passing through an external server. Photo metadata is preserved in either direction, so you keep the information attached to your images. With the upgraded version, you can transfer photos and videos at full resolution without reducing photo quality.

You’ll need Photo Transfer App installed on your mobile device, and a valid upgrade there to access all features. Both devices need a Wi-Fi network that allows them to connect; some public and corporate networks block those connections.
