What you get

Keep meeting decisions and key moments without uploading your conversations.

You get a recording and readable transcript of your calls without creating an account or inviting a recording bot. Trace captures your microphone and system audio, then transcribes the conversation on your Apple silicon Mac. Your recordings and summaries are processed locally rather than sent to a server.

When something matters, you can flag it with a shortcut and add a quick note while the conversation continues. That note appears at the matching timestamp in your transcript, so you can return to the relevant passage. You can also identify speakers by name and have those voices recognized in later calls.

Afterward, you can turn the transcript into an overview of decisions and follow-ups. You keep the audio and Markdown files in Finder, where you can move or delete them yourself, or choose to take the transcript into Notion, Obsidian, ChatGPT, or Claude.
